Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed in my Etsy shop CordsIllustration. By placing an order, you accept the following terms.

3.a Products and Ordering Process

My shop offers both print-on-demand products (e.g., T-shirts, posters, calendars) and digital products (e.g., postcards) for download.

Print-on-Demand Products: Orders and shipping of physical products are handled by the service provider Printful. These products are only produced after an order is placed and then shipped.

Digital Products: Digital products, such as downloadable postcards, are available immediately after payment is received.

To place an order, you select your desired products and follow the checkout process on the Etsy platform. After successful order placement, you will receive an order confirmation email.

The back of the offered postcards and posters cannot be printed due to technical limitations. For design reasons, the manufacturer information is also not included on the front side of the products to preserve their visual integrity. However, all required details about the manufacturer and the origin of the products are fully listed in the product description of each item.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are stated in Euros and include the applicable VAT. Payment can be made using the payment methods provided by Etsy (e.g., PayPal, credit card).

5. Shipping and Delivery

Print-on-Demand Products:

The delivery of physical products is handled by Printful and processed by them. Shipping times may vary depending on the product and destination. The production time is usually 2–7 business days. After production, the product will be shipped. Shipping time is typically 5–10 business days within Europe and 10–20 business days for international shipping.

Digital Products:

Digital products are available for download immediately after payment. The download link will be provided to you directly after the order is placed.

Important Note: For international orders, additional customs duties or taxes may apply, which are the responsibility of the buyer.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Digital Products:

In accordance with Section 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the buyer explicitly waives the right of withdrawal upon placing an order for digital products, as these can be downloaded immediately after purchase.

Print-on-Demand Products:

As all print-on-demand products are specifically produced for the buyer after the order is placed, there are no returns or exchanges. This also applies if the buyer wishes to change their order later.

7. Returns and Exchanges

No returns or exchanges are offered for physical or digital products. Please make sure to carefully select your products before purchasing.

8. Liability

I am not liable for any damages resulting from the improper use of the products. Liability for damages caused by the delivery of the products is limited to the value of the ordered products.

9. Data Protection

I take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it exclusively to fulfill your order. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except where necessary for order fulfillment (e.g., sharing the shipping address with Printful).

10. Copyright

All designs, illustrations, and digital products offered in my shop are protected by copyright. They may not be used, altered, or resold without my express permission.

11. Applicable Law

German law applies. The application of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded.

Right of Withdrawal
1. Right of Withdrawal for Print-on-Demand Products:
As the print-on-demand products are custom-made specifically for the buyer, there is no right of withdrawal according to Section 312g (2) No. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB). You may only cancel your order as long as the production has not yet started. Once production has begun, cancellation is no longer possible.

2. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Products:
For digital products, such as downloadable postcards, according to Section 356 (5) of the German Civil Code (BGB), the buyer explicitly waives the right of withdrawal upon completing the purchase, as the products are made available for download immediately after the purchase and cannot be returned.

3. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal:
Therefore, withdrawal or returns are excluded for all ordered products (both physical and digital products).
