Ho iniziato a disegnare case nel 2013 dopo che la nostra famiglia si è trasferita dal Minnesota, da dove provengo, al New Jersey. Casa era un termine un po 'ambiguo per noi come famiglia con bambini piccoli e non molto di un sistema di radici. Ma sapevamo da dove venivamo e quella casa era ovunque fossimo tutti insieme. Mentre vivevamo lontano dal Minnesota, pensavo così spesso e così sentimentalmente alla mia casa d'infanzia, alle case dei miei nonni, alle cabine degli amici e a tanti altri posti speciali della mia infanzia nel Midwest. I started drawing houses in 2013 after our family moved from Minnesota, where I am from, to New Jersey. Home was a somewhat ambiguous term for us as a family with young children and not much of a root system. But we knew where we were from and that home was wherever we were all together. While we lived away from Minnesota, I thought so often and so sentimentally on my childhood home, my grandparents' homes, friends' cabins, and so many other special places from my Midwest childhood. EveryThread was born when my love for drawing and painting combined correctly with my living away from home nostalgia. And it has been such an honor to create meaningful pieces of art for so many people over the last several years. Thank you for stopping by!
