Fragmentos de Forma Libre comenzó con un abrigo de fieltro sin terminar y toda una vida de tradición artesanal. Mis dos abuelas me enseñaron a tejer y a hacer ganchillo, y siempre encontré paz y propósito en el arte textil. Años después, mientras trabajaba en el abrigo, me di cuenta de que no estaba destinado a ser usado, sino a ser recordado. Transformé la parte trasera en un tapiz, añadiéndole toques personales y alegres. Esa pieza ahora cuelga en el estudio de mi casa en Buford, Georgia.

Como profesora de música jubilada, crear arte se convirtió en mi forma de conectar con la gente, las emociones y el legado. Ahora creo tapices de fieltro únicos inspirados en fragmentos de la vida: alegría, pérdida, amor, celebración, y te invito a compartir tu historia conmigo.

Al encargar una pieza, eliges los colores y las dimensiones, y compartes los recuerdos más importantes. Convierto esos fragmentos en arte tangible y palpable: recuerdos hechos a mano de las personas y los momentos que nos definen.

FreeForm Fragments began with a single unfinished felted coat and a lifetime of handmade tradition. Taught to knit and crochet by both my grandmothers, I always found peace and purpose in fiber arts. Years later, while working on the coat, I realized it wasn't meant to be worn - it was meant to be remembered. I transformed the back of it into a wall hanging, adding personal and joyful accents. That piece now hangs in my home studio in Buford, Georgia.

As a retired music teacher, creating art became my way of staying connected to people, emotion, and legacy. I now create one-of-a-kind felt wall hangings inspired by the fragments of life- joy, loss, love, celebration- and invite you to share your story with me.

When you commission a piece, you choose the colors and dimensions and share the memories that matter most. I turn those fragments into tangible, touchable art- handmade reminders of the people and moments that shape us.
