Howddode

Ciao e benvenuto nel mio negozio! So che è difficile da scrivere e, in retrospettiva, avrei dovuto scegliere un nome più semplice, ma ora che ho clienti abituali, non posso tornare indietro. Per coloro che sono confusi, Howddode sta per Howdy Do Dee. Era un burattino dai capelli rossi con le lentiggini degli anni 50-60. E quando ero più giovane, i ragazzi mi chiamavano Salve Dee. (O Lucille Ball!) Quindi ecco qua!

Come molte persone qui su Etsy, sono una mamma casalinga e cerco di andare avanti proprio come tutti gli altri. Non vivo in una villa, non possiedo auto nuove. Sto solo cercando di guadagnare un po' di soldi extra in modo che la mia famiglia possa andare in vacanza di tanto in tanto e pagare alcune bollette (mi vengono in mente l'università, le tasse, il gasolio per il riscaldamento e l'elettricità). E come tutti sanno, le bollette non smettono di arrivare.

Mi ci vuole un po' di tempo per creare i progetti e sono molto orgoglioso di farlo. Quando ho iniziato a crearli più di 15 anni fa (una specie di hobby), è stato perché ho scoperto che molte persone vorrebbero libri PERSONALIZZATI.

Una volta lavoravo a Manhattan presso una società di consulenza, dove svolgevo la maggior parte se non tutto il lavoro grafico. Avendo un background artistico, volevo fare qualcosa che mostrasse il mio lato creativo, pur godendomi la crescita dei miei figli. Questo è il mix perfetto di entrambi i mondi. Devo creare queste fantastiche idee ORIGINALI per i miei libri e le mie etichette e condividerle con il mondo, mentre posso restare a casa con i miei figli!

Adoro creare i MIEI LIBRI e TAG. Ogni disegno è stato pensato da me, ma non mi dispiace dare consigli. Hai bisogno di qualcosa che non vedi, fammelo sapere!

Hello, and welcome to my shop! I know it's hard to spell, and in retrospect, I should have chosen an easier name, but now that I have repeat customers, there is no turning back. For those that are confused, HOWDDODE stands for Howdy Do Dee. He was a red haired puppet with freckles from the 50-60's. And when I was younger, kids used to call me Howdy Do Dee. (Or Lucille Ball!) So there you have it!

Like many people here on Etsy, I am a stay at home mom, I am trying to get by just like everyone else. I don't live in a mansion, I don't own new cars. I am just trying to make a little extra money so that my family can go on a vacation every now and then and pay some bills, (college, taxes, heating oil and electric come to mind). And as anyone knows, the bills just don't stop coming.

The designs take me quite some time to create, and I take great pride in doing so. When I started creating these over 15 years ago (kind of a hobby), it was because I found that a lot of people would like PERSONALIZED books.

Once upon a time I worked in Manhattan at a Consulting Firm, where I did most if not all of their graphic's work. Having a background in art, I wanted to do something that showed my creative side, while still getting to enjoy my children as they grew up. This is the perfect mix of both worlds. I got to create these great ORIGINAL ideas for my books and tags and share them with the world, while I got to stay home with my kids!

I do love to create MY BOOKS and TAGS. Each design has been thought up by me, but I don't mind any recommendations. Need something you don't see, just let me know!
