Así que empecé a crearlo yo misma. Recorría las tiendas con mis dos hijas buscando cosas —ya fuera ropa, un libro o una obra de arte— y todo lo que veíamos en los estantes era aburrido, cursi o parecía hecho para nadie en particular. Nunca encontrábamos nada que encajara con nuestro sentido del humor o nuestro estilo personal.

Ese es prácticamente el objetivo principal. Creo ropa, libros para colorear y piezas con frases y pensamientos de la gente. Si te hace reír o te sientes identificado, entonces cumplió su cometido.

So I started making it myself. I would walk through stores with my two daughters looking for things—whether it was clothes, a book, or a piece of art—and everything on the shelves was just boring, cheesy, or felt like it was made for nobody in particular. We could never find anything that matched our sense of humor or personal style.

That’s pretty much the whole goal here. I make apparel, coloring books, and pieces with things people actually say and think. If it makes you laugh or just feels like you, then it did its job.
