Most tools sold online look organised and calculate nothing. These do the opposite.
isorganized is for the part of running something that nobody teaches you.
Whether you sell online, rent out a flat, invoice clients, or just run a household,
there is a layer underneath it where the arithmetic is fiddlier than it looks and
getting it wrong is expensive. What a sale actually leaves you. What a property
really yields. What an hour of your time has to be worth. Which deadline is closer
than you think.
Most of what is sold to help with that is a template. It looks organised and it
calculates nothing. The hard part — the part where the money is — is still left to
you, usually late at night, exactly when you are least likely to get it right.
I build the other thing. Every file here is a working model: live formulas you can
click into, trace, change and argue with. And behind the formulas is data I checked
myself against the original source, with the date I checked it printed inside the
file rather than promised in a listing.
That second half is the slow part, and it is the reason this shop exists. Platforms
adjust their fees, governments move deadlines, rates drift. A tool that was right
last year is quietly wrong this year unless somebody goes and looks. I go and look,
and I write down when.
One example, so that is not just a claim. Building the first tool here meant reading
one platform's published fee pages country by country. It turned up two mistakes in
my own first draft, and one charge that moved by a penny between one day and the
next. Nobody buying a spreadsheet should have to discover that themselves.
More tools are coming, in the same shape: pricing and profit for other platforms,
freelance rates and invoicing, property and rental returns, tax preparation. Each one
is built the same way, or it does not go in the shop.
Three things these tools do not do, said here rather than discovered later. They do
not connect to your accounts. They do not know your costs unless you tell them. And
they do not calculate the income tax you owe on your profit — that is a conversation
for an accountant, and I am not one.
When rates change I rebuild the file, and the link in your download serves the new
version at no charge. You do not buy it twice.
I am at the beginning here and I would rather earn a review than ask for one. If
something does not work, message me before you leave one. I answer within a day.
