Ciao amici dell'uncinetto! Sono Alyssa. Sono originaria del Michigan, ma vivo a Chicago da 12 anni. Sono sempre stata una persona creativa e nel corso degli anni mi sono cimentata in diverse forme d'arte, ma non ho mai provato una passione così forte per un'arte fino a quando non ho iniziato a lavorare all'uncinetto. Ho preso in mano un uncinetto circa 3 anni e mezzo fa e mi ha davvero cambiato la vita.
La natura ripetitiva dell'uncinetto mi dona pace e calma la mia mente iperattiva. E il processo creativo mi riconnette con quella parte di me che amava creare cose da bambina. Quello che è iniziato come un hobby si è presto trasformato in una passione, e ora disegnare modelli è uno dei miei modi preferiti per condividere questa gioia con gli altri.
Sono davvero grata per quest'arte e per tutti voi che la amate tanto quanto me.

Hi crochet friends! I'm Alyssa. I'm a Michigan native who has called Chicago home for the past 12 years. I've always been a creative person and have dabbled in various creative outlets over the years, but I've truly never felt so passionate about an art form until I started crocheting. I picked up a hook about 3.5 years ago, and it genuinely changed my life.
The repetitive nature of crochet brings me peace and calms my ADHD brain. And the creative process reconnects me with the part of myself that loved making things as a child. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion, and now designing patterns is one of my favorite ways to share that joy with others.
I am so very thankful for this craft, and for all of you that love it just as much as I do.
