WHO WE ARE.....
La idea de LazerModels surgió en 2010. Habían pasado tres años desde la caída del mercado de 2007 y yo había estado sin trabajo durante 3 años a pesar de buscarlo. Resulta que estaba sobrecalificado y tenía la edad equivocada para el mercado: era una mierda.
Mi esposa, una familia de emprendedores creativos, tenía un láser para su negocio de bordado personalizado y decidí usarlo para intentar hacer un juguete para mi nieto. Después de algunos intentos, resultó bastante bueno, así que decidí crear algunos diseños más. Diez modelos después comencé a venderlos en un pequeño Farmer's Market en Buena Park, CA. Vendimos allí durante unos meses y decidimos probar la Feria de Artesanía Navideña en Knott's Berry Farm, ¡fue fantástico! Todavía no veíamos ni entendíamos realmente el plan que Dios tenía para nosotros, pero sabíamos que se estaba moviendo a lo grande. En abril, después de la feria de primavera de Knott's Berry Farm, nos ofrecieron una tienda permanente. Así, durante los siguientes tres años y medio tuvimos un hogar donde vender nuestros modelos y ampliar nuestra línea de productos. Ahora que cerramos la ubicación de Kotts Berry Farm, nos encontrará en toda California y partes de Nevada haciendo diferentes espectáculos durante todo el año, viajando y vendiendo.
No ha sido un camino fácil, pero mi mejor amiga y hermosa novia me ha apoyado, me ha animado y ahora trabaja junto a mí a diario. Estamos verdaderamente bendecidos.
The idea of LazerModels was created in 2010. It was three years after the 2007 market crash and I had been out of work for 3 years despite looking. As it turns out, I was overqualified and the wrong age for the market - it sucked.
A family of creative entrepreneurs, my wife owned a laser for her custom embroidery business and I decided to use it to try and make a toy for my grandson. After a few attempts, it turned out pretty cool so I decided to create a few more designs. 10 models later I started selling them at a little Farmer's Market in Buena Park, CA. We sold there for a few months and decided to try the Christmas Craft Fair at Knott's Berry Farm, it was fantastic! We still did not really see or understand the plan that God had for us, but we knew he was moving in big ways. In April, after the Knott’s Berry Farm Spring show, we were offered a permanent store. So for the next 3 ½ years we had a home to sell our models and expand our product line. Now that we closed the Kotts Berry Farm Location you will find us all over California and parts of Nevada doing different shows year around traveling and selling.
It has not been an easy road, but My Best Friend and Beautiful Bride has stood by me, encourages me, and is now working alongside me daily. We are truly blessed.
