Bienvenido a Lino the Times.
Tras varios años trabajando como artista profesional, mi verdadera pasión siempre ha sido dibujar y crear piezas más pequeñas e íntimas. Sentía la necesidad de un nuevo reto creativo, así que al aprender a hacer grabados en linóleo, me pareció lógico centrarme en las cosas que me alegraban y que formaban mis intereses.
Me enamoré del medio y sentí que las impresiones en bloque de lino hechas a mano, con su acabado descolorido e irregular, eran perfectas tanto para el tema como para la sensación de nostalgia que evocan.
Creo que es justo decir que no soy el único que encuentra consuelo en el pasado y en las ideas clave de la cultura popular que lo consideran un refugio. Con esto en mente, creé Lino the Times.

Welcome to Lino the Times.
Having worked as a professional artist for a number of years, my real passion has always been drawing and making smaller, more intimate pieces. I felt a need for a new creative challenge, so in learning to make lino block prints it made sense to simply focus on the things that brought me joy and formed my interests.
I fell in love with the medium and felt that handmade Lino block prints, with their faded and irregular finish, were perfect for both the subject matter and the sense of nostalgia they elicit.
I think it's fair to say that I'm not the only one who finds comfort in the past and in the formative things in popular culture that feel like a haven. With this in mind, I've created Lino the Times.
