I was born in Santiago de Chile. I grew up surrounded by trees and thrushes. There was an apple tree, a cherry tree, a couple of plum trees and a fig tree. There were lemons, tangerines, pears, persimmons, cherries and peaches. There was a walnut tree, a willow tree, a vegetable garden with zucchini and raspberries. There was a vineyard of green grapes, sweet with seeds, always full of bees. The roses, the thorns of the roses. The mountain full of pines and eucalyptus. How this scenario forged my imagination is a mystery that with each step of the route reveals itself and gives me a little bit of light and color. I spend my days in the workshop losing track of time drawing, painting, cutting papers, designing, looking for nice fonts, writing in my little notebook, reading, researching and exploring different aspects of collage, screen printing, painting and illustration. Searching for my voice, listening to my voice. Learning every day. Life changes and so do I.

Nací en Santiago de Chile. Crecí rodeada de árboles y de zorzales. Había un manzano, un cerezo, un par de ciruelos, una higuera. Había limones, mandarinas, peras, caquis, guindas, duraznos, pelúos, pelaos. Había un nogal, un sauce, una huerta con zapallitos italianos y frambuesas. Había un parrón de uvas verdes, dulces con pepa, siempre lleno de abejas. Las rosas, las espinas de las rosas. La montaña llena de aromos, pinos y eucaliptos. Cómo este escenario forjó mi imaginario es un misterio que con cada paso de la ruta se desvela y me regala un trocito de luz y color. Paso mis días en el taller perdiendo la noción del tiempo dibujando, pintando, cortando papeles, diseñando, buscando bonitas tipografías, escribiendo en mi pequeño cuaderno, leyendo, investigando y explorando diferentes aspectos del collage, la serigrafía, la pintura y la ilustración. Buscando mi voz, escuchando mi voz. Aprendo cada día. La vida cambia y yo también.
