Adoro la ricerca necessaria per trovare affari e oggetti unici. Cerco nei negozi dell'usato e nelle vendite immobiliari. Non sono uno che passa molto tempo alle vendite di garage, ma ogni tanto mi fermo.
Anche se da bambina ero un maschiaccio, ho imparato ad amare i gioielli vintage e antichi. Non importa quale sia l'oggetto, ho molto rispetto per la qualità dei pezzi più vecchi. Porcellana, vetro, stampe, tutto cattura la mia attenzione. Sono sempre stupita di trovare qualcosa di veramente antico, specialmente oggetti del XIX secolo, che siano ancora intatti.
La parte più difficile di questo business è vedere i propri giocattoli in un negozio di antiquariato/vintage. Io sono alla fine del gruppo dei Baby Boomer, ma sono sempre stupita nel vedere i miei vecchi giocattoli su uno scaffale. In parte perché mi ricordano la mia età e in parte perché vorrei aver conservato alcuni di quei giocattoli ora molto preziosi!

I love the search involved in finding bargains and unique items. I search thrift stores and estate sales. I am not one to spend much time at garage sales, but I will stop occasionally.
Even though I was quite the tomboy as a child, I have come to love vintage and antique jewelry. No matter what the item, I have a lot of respect for the quality of the older pieces. Porcelain, glass, prints, all grab my attention. I am always amazed to find something really old, especially items from the 19th century, that are still intact.
The hardest part about this business is seeing your own toys in an antique/vintage store. I am at the end of the Baby Boomers group but I am always amazed to see my old play things on a shelf. Partly because it reminds me of my age and partly because I wish I had saved some of those now highly valued toys!
