¡Hola y bienvenido a Orchard Valley Laser Design! Soy DeeDee, el orgulloso propietario y creador detrás de este esfuerzo artístico. Como enfermera, hermana, madre e inesperadamente abuela de tres hijos, a menudo me maravillo de lo rápido que pasa el tiempo.
Mi amor por el arte y crear con mis manos me llevó a emprender este viaje. Comenzando con una simple máquina Cricut, mi pasión por la artesanía creció y finalmente me llevó a explorar las posibilidades del arte láser. Lo que comenzó con un láser Glowforge fácil de usar ahora ha evolucionado hasta convertirse en una operación completa con un láser industrial de gran tamaño y, sorprendentemente, ¡un láser de fibra en camino para grabar sobre metal!
Si bien sueño con expandirme al corte de metales con una cortadora de plasma algún día, por ahora me concentraré en crear hermosas piezas con madera. Las posibilidades son infinitas y no puedo esperar para explorarlas todas.
Mi objetivo final es hacer la transición a trabajar a tiempo completo desde casa y retirarme de mi satisfactoria carrera de enfermería. La enfermería ha sido un viaje increíble, enseñándome lecciones valiosas, pero mi verdadera pasión radica en el mundo del arte.

Hello and welcome to Orchard Valley Laser Design! I'm DeeDee, the proud owner and creator behind this artistic endeavor. As a nurse, sister, mother, and unexpectedly a grandmother of three, I often find myself marveling at how quickly time flies.
My love for art and creating with my hands led me to embark on this journey. Starting with a simple Cricut machine, my passion for crafting grew, eventually leading me to explore the possibilities of laser artistry. What began with a user-friendly Glowforge laser has now evolved into a full-fledged operation with a large industrial laser, and excitingly, a fiber laser on the way for engraving on metal!
While I dream of expanding into metal cutting with a plasma cutter someday, for now, I'll be focusing on crafting beautiful pieces with wood. The possibilities are endless, and I can't wait to explore them all.
My ultimate goal is to transition into working full-time from home and retire from my fulfilling nursing career. Nursing has been an incredible journey, teaching me valuable lessons, but my true passion lies in the world of art.
