For those who are interested, here’s a little background info on how I started PVC Animals
Faccio e vendo le sculture finite da diversi anni. Tutto è iniziato quando ero annoiato dalla lavorazione del legno e volevo provare qualcosa di diverso. Ho cercato online e mi sono imbattuto in un modello gratuito per un piccolo uccello in pvc. Mi ha incuriosito così tanto che l'ho stampato e provato subito. Sono stato subito catturato! È stato così gratificante ottenere una scultura di uccello così carina da un semplice pezzo di tubo in pvc. I miei primi uccelli erano piuttosto amatoriali, con alcune curve del collo dall'aspetto davvero strano, ma che diavolo mi stavo divertendo! Quegli stupidi uccelli che sono stati creati anni fa sono ancora oggi nei miei giardini!
Dopo aver realizzato diversi uccelli da quell'unico modello, ho iniziato a progettare il mio. Devo ammettere che i miei primi modelli non producevano esattamente opere d'arte, ma dopo molteplici modifiche ho creato alcuni disegni di cui ero felice. Ho avuto un cliente che mi ha chiesto se potevo fare un'aquila. Le ho detto che non ero sicuro, ma ci avrei provato. Quindi grazie a "Linda" ora ho un modello a aquila di cui sono abbastanza orgoglioso. È anche l'ispirazione per l'alce!
Quindi, se stai cercando qualcosa di divertente su cui lavorare, prova a creare un animale con un tubo in pvc, potresti appassionarti come ho fatto io!

I’ve been making and selling the finished sculptures for several years now. It all started when I was bored with woodworking and wanted to try something different. I searched online and came across a free pattern for a small pvc pipe bird. It intrigued me so much that I printed it out and tried it right away. I was immediately hooked! It was so gratifying to get such a cute bird sculpture out of just a plain piece of pvc pipe. My first few birds were quite amateurish, with some really odd looking neck bends, but what the heck I was having fun! Those silly birds that were created years ago are still in my gardens today!
After making several birds from that one pattern I started to design my own. I have to admit my first few patterns didn’t exactly produce works of art, but after multiple alterations I came up with some designs that I was happy with. I had a client ask if I could make an eagle. I told her I wasn’t sure but I would give it a try. So thanks to “Linda” I now have an eagle pattern that I’m quite proud of. She is also the inspiration for the moose as well!
So if you’re looking for something fun to work on, try making an animal out of pvc pipe, you might get hooked on it like I did!
