Nel mio studio progetto, dipingo, creo modelli e cucio opere tessili, e dipingo le miniature per i miei ciondoli.
Ho conseguito una laurea triennale in Design Tessile e della Moda, una laurea in Belle Arti e un master in Design, e ho lavorato come designer e insegnante di arte e design per oltre 25 anni.
Come pittrice e artista tessile, trovo ispirazione in frammenti di natura, sogni e visioni, nonché nelle antiche forme di arte simbolica dell'antica Persia. Utilizzo un linguaggio personale fatto di movimenti morbidi e sinuosi, segni fluidi e colori vibranti per esprimere la bellezza e la felicità che risiedono nel mondo naturale. All'interno di questo ambito, il mio lavoro spazia dal figurativo all'astratto. Dipingo ad acquerello, olio, acrilico, batik su seta e con tecniche miste. Tendo a lavorare in serie, scegliendo un tema di ispirazione e creando una collezione di opere in base ai materiali utilizzati.

In my studio I design, paint, make patterns and sew textile arts, and I paint the miniature art for my pendants.
I studied BA in Textile & Fashion Design, BEd in Fine Arts & Masters of Design and have worked as a designer and art and design teacher for over 25 years.
As a painter and textile artist, I find inspiration in fragments of nature, dreams and visions I experience and in old forms of symbolic art making in ancient Persia. I employ a personal vocabulary of soft and curvy movements, fluid marks and vibrant colors to express the beauty and happiness that resides in the natural world. Within this realm, my work varies from representational to abstract. I paint in watercolor, oil, acrylic, Batik on silk, and Mixed media. I tend to work in series by choosing a theme of inspiration and create a collection of the work in regard to the materials used.
