Ich bin Pernilla, eine finnisch-schwedische Designerin, die in Finnland aufgewachsen ist und seit vier Jahren in Spanien lebt. Das Leben zwischen diesen beiden Welten hat meinen Stil und meine Kreativität geprägt. Ich lasse mich vom nordischen Minimalismus, lässiger Mode, natürlichen Texturen und dem unbeschwerten, entspannten Lebensstil des Mittelmeers inspirieren.

Ich habe schon als kleines Kind von meinen Großmüttern das Häkeln gelernt, und es ist seitdem ein fester Bestandteil meines Lebens. Mit den Jahren, als meine Leidenschaft für Mode und Design wuchs, wurde mir bewusst, wie unglaublich es ist, mit nur einer Häkelnadel und etwas Garn etwas von Grund auf selbst zu erschaffen. Häkeln wurde für mich zu einer Möglichkeit, Ideen zum Leben zu erwecken – Inspirationen in schöne und zugleich praktische Stücke zu verwandeln.

Heute kreiere ich vielseitige Häkelstücke für den Alltag – ob zum Anziehen oder als Deko fürs Zuhause. Neben meinen handgefertigten Kreationen entwerfe ich auch Häkelanleitungen, damit auch andere Freude am Häkeln haben. Meine Arbeit wird von meinen aktuellen Inspirationen bestimmt: Mode, Reisen, Natur, Inneneinrichtung, Farben, Texturen und die schlichte Schönheit des Alltags.

Nachhaltigkeit ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil von Perri Studio. Ich verwende nach Möglichkeit Naturfasern wie Baumwolle, Wolle und andere pflanzliche und tierische Materialien. Ich bin der Meinung, dass es bereits genug Plastik auf der Welt gibt, und ich liebe es, mit Materialien zu arbeiten, die sich authentisch anfühlen, mit der Zeit eine schöne Patina entwickeln und langlebig sind.

Jedes Design ist auf Vielseitigkeit, Zeitlosigkeit und handgefertigten Charme ausgelegt. Ich hoffe, dass diese Stücke Teil Ihres Alltags werden und Ihnen viele Jahre Freude bereiten.

I’m Pernilla, a Finnish-Swedish maker who grew up in Finland and has been based in Spain for the past four years. Living between these two worlds has shaped both my style and my creativity. I'm inspired by Nordic minimalism, effortless fashion, natural textures, and the bright, relaxed lifestyle of the Mediterranean.

I learned to crochet from my grandmothers at a very young age, and it has been a part of me ever since. Over the years, as my love for fashion and design grew, I realised how incredible it is to create something from scratch with just a hook and some yarn. Crochet became a way to bring ideas to life — turning inspiration into pieces that are both beautiful and functional.

Today, I create versatile crochet pieces for everyday life, whether that's something to wear or something to style your home with. Alongside handmade creations, I also design crochet patterns so others can enjoy the process of making. My work is guided by whatever inspires me at the moment — fashion, travel, nature, interiors, colours, textures, and the simple beauty found in everyday moments.

Sustainability is an important part of Perri Studio. I choose natural fibers such as cotton, wool, and other plant- and animal-based materials whenever possible. I believe we already have enough plastic in this world, and I love working with materials that feel authentic, age beautifully, and are made to last.

Every design is created with versatility, timelessness, and handmade charm in mind. My hope is that these pieces become part of your everyday life and are loved for years to come.
