La idea de Realms Keep surgió mientras me preparaba para una sesión que estaba enviando por mensaje privado. Hago terreno personalizado para nuestros encuentros y mucha gente me decía que eran lo suficientemente buenos como para vender y que debería pensar en ser un DM profesional. Entonces, naturalmente, vine a Etsy para husmear y decidí no hacer ninguna de esas cosas jajaja.
Así un poco..
Mientras pensaba qué iba a hacer, mi esposa había comprado algunos artículos de dnd y no quedé muy impresionado con los diseños. Pensé que podía hacer cosas más geniales con mis habilidades artísticas sofisticadas y me propuse una búsqueda para hacer precisamente eso. Ahora tengo diseños para todo tipo de productos... ropa, bebidas, arte mural... incluso hago algunos juegos de dados (sí, mi garaje está totalmente invadido por esto)
Mis clientes parecen estar bastante entusiasmados con mis diseños y eso alimentó al monstruo de la dopamina que habita en mi cerebro neuropicante, lo que me llevó a hacer más y más. Ahora, llevo poco más de un año en este viaje con más de cien productos y estoy tratando de volver a mi intención real. Tengo un prototipo para una pantalla DM única y un sistema de seguimiento de iniciativas que estoy resolviendo. Los errores están solucionados y espero lanzarlos en algún momento de este año. Puedo construirle un terreno personalizado si lo solicita y planeo ofrecer materiales para otros constructores también. Pero todavía hago algunos diseños de vez en cuando y recientemente he estado haciendo cada vez más trabajos personalizados.

En general, la mejor parte de hacer esto es que pienso en todas las mesas en las que están mis diseños y es casi como si yo también estuviera allí. Así que gracias por traerme a su mesa y a sus mundos... Es un honor para mí estar allí.
The idea for Realms Keep came about while getting ready for a session I was DM'ing. I make custom terrain for our encounters and I had a lot of people telling me how they were good enough to sell and that I should think about being a professional DM. So naturally, I came to Etsy to snoop around and decided not to do either of those things lol.
Well kinda..
While I was figuring out what I was going to do, my wife had bought some dnd swag and I was not very impressed with the designs. I figured I could make cooler stuff with my fancy art skills and I set about on a quest to do just that. I now have designs on all types of products.. clothing, drinkware, wall art.. even do some dice sets, (yes, my garage is fully taken over by this)
My customers seem to be pretty stoked on my designs and it fed the dopamine monster that inhabits my neuro-spicy brain, leading me to make more and more. Now, I'm a just over a year into this journey with over a hundred products and I'm trying to get back to my actual intention.. I have a prototype for a unique DM screen and Initiative tracking system that I am ironing out the bugs on and hope to launch at some point this year. I can build you custom terrain upon request, and plan to offer materials for other builders as well. But I still crack out some designs from time to time and have recently been doing more and more full custom work.
