Mi chiamo Josh Rhoades e faccio arte del legno su commissione.
Ho segato Scroll da quando avevo 13 anni. negli ultimi 9 anni ho fatto ritratti. Questo consiste nello scattare una foto e realizzare un modello che può essere tagliato in legno con una sega. Dopo che il motivo è stato ritagliato in legno, viene quindi messo su uno sfondo nero in cui la silhouette crea un'immagine basata su luce e buio. Questi sono pezzi unici nel loro genere che realizzo personalmente. Ogni immagine è disegnata e tagliata a mano da me.
My name is Josh Rhoades and I do commission wood art .
I have been Scroll sawing since I was 13. within the past 9 years I have been doing portrait work. This consist of taking a photo and making a pattern that can be cut in wood with a saw. After the pattern is cut out of wood it is then put on a black background where the silhouette creates an image based on light and dark. These are one of a kind pieces that I make personally . Each image is designed and cut by hand by me.
