Essere creativi porta gioia.
Sono cresciuta creativa, perché mia mamma era una sarta professionista e mio padre un sarto, quindi c'erano attrezzature da cucito e passamanerie intorno a me. Mia madre mi ha insegnato a cucire e ho progredito nella creazione di vestiti per bambole e poi dei miei vestiti.
Realizzo carte su misura per amici e familiari da oltre 20 anni.
Molto spesso ho avuto difficoltà a trovare quello che volevo nei negozi di carte, quindi dopo aver avuto i miei figli è iniziato il mio viaggio nella creazione di carte. Alcuni progetti possono essere piuttosto complicati e dispendiosi in termini di tempo, ma mi piace molto. Fortunatamente anche i miei figli sono creativi!
Ho avuto l'opportunità di creare un gruppo artigianale al lavoro. I miei figli e colleghi di lavoro hanno contribuito ad aumentare la gioia di essere creativi.
Nel corso degli anni sono stato introdotto a così tanti mestieri attraverso familiari, amici e colleghi, sono felice di poterli condividere con voi!
To be creative brings joy.
I grew up being creative, as my Mum was a professional seamstress and my Dad a tailor, so there were sewing equipment and trimmings around me. My mum taught me how to sew and I progressed into making dolls clothes and then my own clothes.
I have been making bespoke cards for friends and family for over 20 years now.
I very often had trouble finding what I wanted in the card shops, so after I had my children my card-making journey began. Some projects can be quite fiddly and time consuming but I really enjoy that. Luckily my children are creative too!
I had the opportunity to create a Craft Group at work. My children and work colleagues have helped to increase the joy to be creative.
Through the years I have been introduced to so many crafts through family, friends and colleagues, I am delighted to be able to share them with you!
