Queridos amigos,

Me he estado divirtiendo en mi estudio creando joyas artesanales juguetonas, elegantes y únicas a partir de metales recuperados y reciclados, piedras semipreciosas y otros tesoros.

Mis diseños están inspirados en las formas, texturas y colores del mundo natural que me rodea. Me encanta el cobre, los círculos, las piedras de colores, los metales vintage y la cadena antigua.

Traigo a mi oficio de joyería gran parte de la misma pasión y estética artesanal que aporto al cultivo de jardines y la preparación de fiestas. Un amor y disfrute del proceso, desde plantar la semilla, hasta servir los frutos en la mesa de la fiesta. Desde cortar formas de luna con la sierra de agujero hasta reunir todos los elementos para hacer una pieza terminada de joyería.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, me he estado tomando un tiempo libre del trabajo para centrarme en la curación de la enfermedad de Lyme, con la que me complace decir que he hecho un progreso positivo. Antes de enfermarme, dirigía un negocio de catering de granja a mesa y cultivaba y dirigía un pequeño programa de CSA en TreeEater Farm.

Aunque me siento mucho mejor, todavía experimento una amplia gama de síntomas y tengo niveles de energía erráticos. Tomarme un tiempo libre del trabajo me permitió incursionar en la fabricación de joyas y me di cuenta de lo mucho que disfruto del oficio y decidí probarlo como un negocio a tiempo parcial. Poder trabajar desde casa haciendo algo creativo con horarios flexibles es mi objetivo. Por lo tanto, presento mi nueva empresa y espero que aprecien lo que he estado creando.

Dear Friends,

I have been having fun in my studio creating playful, elegant, and unique handcrafted jewelry from salvaged and upcycled metals, semi-precious stones, and other treasures.

My designs are inspired by the shapes, textures, and colors of the natural world around me. I love copper, circles, colorful stones, vintage metals, and antique chain.

I bring to my jewlery craft much of the same passion and artisan aesthetics i bring to growing gardens and preparing feasts. A love and enjoyment of the process, from planting the seed, to serving the fruits on the feast table. From cutting out moon shapes with the hole saw to bringing together all the elements in making a finished piece of jewlery.

As many of you know, i have been taking time off work to focus on healing from Lyme's disease, which i am happy to say i have made positive progress with. Before getting sick, i was running a farm to table catering business and growing and running a small CSA program at TreeEater Farm.

Though i am feeling much improved, i still experience a wide range of symptoms, and have erratic energy levels. Taking time off work allowed me to dabble in jewlery making and i came to realize how much i enjoy the craft and decided to make a go of it as a part time business. Being able to work from home doing something creative with flexible hours is my goal. Thus i introduce my new venture and hope you will appreciate what i have been creating.
