SWLKeepsakesMK

All our keepsakes are made using epoxy resin. To ensure your pieces remain in the best condition, please follow the following care instructions;

- Keep out of direct sunlight
- Avoid exposing to harsh chemicals or excessive heat
- Our items are shower proof but not water proof, please do not submerge in water for prolong periods.
- Any sterling silver elements may be subject to tarnish - this can easily be rectified using a silver polishing cloth.
- Do not sleep wearing your jewellery items.

We are happy to repair any items that may be damaged, as long as the care instructions have been carefully followed.

For all rings, please ensure the correct size is ordered. If you are unsure, please contact us and we are happy to assist you with finding your ring size. We are unable to remake items if the incorrect ring size has been ordered through your own sizing error.

Shipping times are given from receipt of your ashes/hair/pet fur or breast milk. We understand that not everyone is ready to send us their personal items right away; we don't have an issue with this, but please be aware the estimated delivery time given is from the date we receive your items and not from the date of ordering.

Some jewellery items we offer are custom made for us for us to add our resin elements to; some of these custom pieces may take longer to complete and reach us. If there is expected to be any delays, we will contact you to let you know.

Upon ordering we will contact you to discuss sending us your personal items. In some instances, you will be able to send these directly to us as long as they are suitably packaged. However, for ashes we are able to send 'kits' out to you that contain suitable containers to send your ashes to us safely.

Although we have listed most colours available on our items, we do have different shades of some colours and are always happy to source other colours if the colour you require isn't listed. Please contact us to discuss prior to ordering if this is the case.

Please be aware that when we take our photos for listing purposes or to show you your finished item, we do use a ring light to enhance lighting, and we will always adjust the contrast, brightness and sharpen the photo so that all details of your inclusions can be properly seen. This may mean that your finished item is not as bright or shiny as it appears in the photo; please rest assured we have polished and finished your piece to the highest standards;however photos may not always reflect the true finished piece for the reasons stated above. If your piece is not as expected we will be happy to discuss any alterations, but we will not offer a refund or exchange on the basis it is not exactly as it is shown in the photo.

Please note that if you order a rose gold or gold plated ring, please be aware this is a thin plating over a sterling silver band; over time the colour will wear back to sterling silver. Replacements or refunds will not be offered for the plating wearing.

- Rose gold or gold filled are thin layers of your chosen gold layered over the base metal of the ring so this option will ensure your piece retains the gold/ rose gold colouring for much longer. This is available on many of our pieces so do please message us to request a custom listing if not yet available.

Some pieces are also available in 9, 14 or 18ct white, rose or yellow gold. We can provide a quote/ let you know if this option is available upon request.
