My item arrived in a re-used box or a box for a different item. Why?

We try our best to re-use, reduce, and recycle materials. This includes re-using or recycling boxes that are in good condition to ship our items. Often we will flip lightly used boxes inside out so the interior of your items box may have writing or graphics on it.

Care instructions

Due to the wide variety of items we sell, it is hard to give specific care instructions. We recommend researching how to care for your item online. However, you are always welcome to send us a message and we will answer any questions to the best of our ability.

Gift wrapping and packaging

We are always happy to include a personalized handwritten message on cardstock in your order for free. If you need something beyond that such as gift wrapping or decorative packaging, please send us a message and we would be happy to work with you on it.

My item arrived damaged! What do I do now?

We do our best to package items securely so that they arrive to you in their original condition but, unfortunately, sometimes things do happen and an item may arrive broken. Please take a photo of the damaged item and include it in your message to us here on Etsy. Our typical response time is in 24 hours or less unless we are away (which would be stated on the shop's page under "Announcements") .

While you are waiting for our response, try not to worry! Your satisfaction is our number one priority.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Shipping costs for international orders can vary greatly depending on item size and weight. Please send us a message if you are interested in purchasing items from our shop and we can provide you with a shipping estimate for your location.

Do you take item requests?

Yes! If there is something special you are on the hunt for please send us a message and we will certainly do our best to locate it for you. All items we locate for you will be sold to you at a fair price (discussed beforehand) and you will be responsible for any shipping costs. If this is something you are interested in please be sure to include as much detail as possible in your message so that we can locate exactly what you're after. Thanks!

I want to return an item I purchased. How does that work?

Of course, we always hope you love your items! But, if for some reason you don't, we are happy to accept returns. There are a few things to consider however, before purchasing, if you might have second thoughts:

1. You, the purchaser, are responsible for return shipping costs. If you end up needing to make a return we will send you a message with tips and tricks to help you get this cost as low as possible!

2. You, the purchaser, are responsible for any loss in value. This means if a piece is damaged while in your possession or on its way back to us, your refund may be less than anticipated. For this reason we STRONGLY recommend purchasing shipping insurance or using USPS Priority mail which automatically insures items up to $100.

How do you determine prices for your items?

Each item is priced based on its value, rarity, and the time put into it. Almost all of our items are vintage or antique and we source them ourselves, clean them up, research them, photograph them all, do our own marketing, packaging, and shipping. A lot of effort, time, and love go into each item in our shop. Please consider that most of these items are no longer in production and are not readily available. Packing materials are not free. Shipping expenses and insurance are not free. Finding, cleaning, photographing and sometimes restoring (upon request) these items takes a lot of time. Many items are collectors items. They also require proper storage, while in our care, to keep them from being further damaged. Thank you for understanding.
