This is the second order from this wonderful craftsman. I am a seasoned furniture guy and the quality, craftsmanship and finish are top notch! This table and now (6) chairs -- after adding (2) more chairs that match the others perfectly, by the way -- is one of the best furniture buys we have made. As adults we can sit on these chairs, along with our (3) grandkids an play games and eat dinner together... all at this sturdy and beautiful table and chairs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We were pleased with Childs table & chairs. Only thing that bothered us it has very strong stained smell. Hoping it will go away before grandchildren come to use it. Thought about setting outside in the in fresh air. Any suggestions…

Thank you for taking the time to review. That "new" smell is from the finish and it can be strong (if you're very sensitive to smells) immediately after it's unboxed because the plastic that protects the finish during transport doesn't allow it to dissipate. Putting the furniture near an open window would help, if that's possible. If you have a spare room you can leave it in for a day or two with the door closed, the smell should go away fairly quickly. Thanks for asking.

Truly heirloom quality! We bought it for our two year old granddaughter. Her parents said that their baby's grandchildren will be using this table and chairs! Also, packing was meticulous and everything arrived without a scratch.
