My story
Ho visitato l'isola di Curaçao per la prima volta nel 2022. Avevo raccolto un paio di pezzi di vetro marino e, una volta tornata a casa, mi sono resa conto di non sapere cosa farne. Dopo averci pensato un po', ho capito che potevo avvolgerli con del filo metallico e trasformarli in ciondoli per collane. Ho fatto delle ricerche e ho trovato un modo semplice per avvolgere la pietra. All'epoca avevo del filo metallico molto rigido e spesso. Era circa un millimetro, che, per i gioielli, è davvero spesso. Non era nemmeno filo metallico per gioielli, ma dopo aver iniziato a realizzare quei ciondoli, sono rimasta affascinata dalla creazione di graziose opere d'arte. Li ho regalati e ne ho venduti alcuni. Volevo venderne di più. Più tardi, ho capito che potevo vendere anche orecchini da bambina. Ho comprato i materiali giusti e ho iniziato a creare. Ho aperto questo negozio per aiutare le ragazze e le donne a esprimersi. Sostengo anche diversi fondi che aiutano il nostro pianeta. Ecco perché dono il 25% di tutte le vendite al WWF (World Wildlife Fund) e presto inizierò a fare lo stesso per altre fondazioni ambientaliste. I visited the island of Curacao for the first time in 2022. I had gathered a couple pieces of sea glass, and after arriving back at home, I realized I didn't know what to do with them. After some thinking, I realized I could wire-wrap them and make them into necklace pendants. I did some research, and found a simple way to wrap the stone. At that time I had very stiff, thick wire. It was about one millimeter, which, for jewelry, is really thick. It wasn't even jewelry wire, but after I started making those pendants, I was mesmerized with creating pretty pieces of art. I gifted them and sold a few. I wanted to sell more. Later, I realized that I could also sell girls earrings. I bought the right supplies, and started crafting. I opened this shop to help young girls and women to express themselves. I also support several funds that will help our planet. That is why I donate 25% of all sales to WWF (World Wildlife Fund), and will soon start to do the same for other environmental foundations. Thank you so much for supporting my small business!
