Thuis is een belangrijke plek. Ik wil dat mijn huis me een goed gevoel geeft en weerspiegelt wie ik ben. Ten-Seventy is wat mijn familie het huis noemt dat al drie generaties lang ons epicentrum is; dit is waar mijn grootouders mijn moeder en haar zussen hebben opgevoed, waar iedereen in de familie welkom is om te wonen wanneer dat nodig is, waar ik elke kerst heb doorgebracht, talloze zomermiddagen en waar mijn zonen met hun grootouders spelen. Ten-Seventy heeft altijd als thuis gevoeld en dat is het gevoel dat ik met jullie wil delen door middel van mijn creaties.
Over mij: Ik ben een inwoner van Californië en woon samen met mijn geweldige man en schattige kleintjes. Ik zwoeg in mijn kleine thuisstudio waar ik alles zelf maak in kleine bewust gemaakte collecties.
Op het gevaar af te kunstzinnig te klinken, heb ik sinds ik klein was kunst, ambachten en creëren gebruikt om contact te maken met mezelf en de wereld om me heen te interpreteren. Ik hou van experimenteren met media zoals acrylverf, houtskool, aquarel, glasblazen, houtbewerking, metaalbewerking en natuurlijk keramiek. Mijn hoop is om mijn diploma in Art &Design en een decennium werken in de kunstindustrie te gebruiken om tijdloze en verfijnde stukken aan te bieden die uw stijl en decor zullen complimenteren.
Home is an important place. I want my home to make me feel good and reflect who I am. Ten-Seventy is what my family calls the home that has been our epicenter for three generations; this is where my grandparents raised my mom and her sisters, where anyone in the family is welcome to live when they need to, where I have spent every single Christmas, countless summer afternoons, and where my sons play with their grandparents. Ten-Seventy has always felt like home and that is the feeling I want to share with you through my creations.
About me: I am a California native and live with my wonderful husband and adorable littles. I toil in my small home studio where I make everything myself in small consciously created collections.
At the risk of sounding too artsy-fartsy, since I was little I have used arts, crafts and creating to connect to myself and interpret the world around me. I love experimenting with media including acrylic paint, charcoal, watercolor, glassblowing, woodworking, metalwork and of course ceramics. My hope is to use my degree in Art & Design and a decade working in the art business to offer timeless and sophisticated pieces that will compliment your style and decor.
