Sempre tivemos o amor por pegar materiais comuns e usá-los para criar coisas extraordinárias que se encaixam em nossas vidas cotidianas. Ou, como gostamos de dizer, Viva Criativamente e Celebre Todos os Dias.
Em seus primeiros anos, Elizabeth começou um blog pessoal para capturar e compartilhar belos momentos de sua vida. Ela nomeou seu blog The Path Less Traveled de acordo com o final de seu poema favorito, The Road Not Taken, escrito por Robert Frost. Não percebendo que diferença faria anos depois.

No início de 2009, John experimentou um grave corte salarial em seu trabalho "normal" e as finanças ficaram muito apertadas. Era hora de um caminho diferente. Tanto John quanto Elizabeth nasceram em famílias que valorizavam a criatividade e o sonho grande. Trabalho duro, determinação, iniciativa e sacrifício foram valorizados como trampolim para fazer esses sonhos se tornarem realidade. Com algumas ideias rápidas, ambos perceberam que John era um empresário de coração e Elizabeth tinha um amor por itens artesanais. Era hora de começar o próprio negócio!
Na primavera de 2009, depois de juntar alguns dólares para comprar alguns metros de pano para fazer aventais, eles abriram sua primeira loja em BigCartel.com. O negócio precisava de um nome. Um cativante. Um que se destacou e os separou de todos os outros. Depois de alguns dias falando sobre isso, John sugeriu elizabeth usar o nome de seu blog. Assim nasceu O Caminho Menos Percorrido®, LLC.
As vendas foram lentas, mas mostraram sinais de crescimento. Em 2010, o Path Less Traveled® havia trocado as plataformas de mercado para Etsy.com e adicionado alguns artigos de papel, itens vintage e guirlandas de pano. Hoje, o Path Less Traveled® está hospedado em duas grandes plataformas de compras, oferece centenas de itens artesanais e navios ao redor do mundo.
Desde o humilde início de fazer aventais simples até fornecer arte 3D para grandes corporações usarem em sessões de fotos dinâmicas, o Caminho Menos Viajado® continua a inovar e procurar maneiras criativas de transformar materiais comuns em coisas extraordinárias. Com o rápido desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias e alguns investimentos estratégicos, o Caminho Menos Viajado® está animado para ultrapassar os limites dessa paixão por muitos anos.

We have always had a love for taking ordinary materials and using them to create extraordinary things that fit into our everyday lives. Or, as we like to say, Live Creatively & Celebrate Everyday.
In her early years, Elizabeth started a personal blog to capture and share beautiful moments of her life. She named her blog The Path Less Traveled in keeping with the end to her favorite poem, The Road Not Taken, written by Robert Frost. Not realizing what difference it would make years later.

In early 2009, John experienced a serious pay cut at his “normal” job and finances became very tight. It was time for a different road. Both John and Elizabeth had been born into families that valued creativity and dreaming big. Hard work, determination, initiative, and sacrifice were valued as the stepping stones to making those dreams become reality. With some quick brainstorming, they both realized that John was an entrepreneur at heart and Elizabeth had a love for handmade items. It was time to start their own business!
In the spring of 2009, after scraping a few dollars together to buy a few yards of cloth to make aprons, they opened their first shop on BigCartel.com. The business needed a name. A catchy one. One that stood out and separated them from everyone else. After a few days of talking about it, John suggested Elizabeth use the name of her blog. Thus was born The Path Less Traveled®, LLC.
Sales were slow but showed signs of growth. By 2010, The Path Less Traveled® had switched market platforms to Etsy.com and added a few paper goods, vintage items, and cloth garlands. Today, The Path Less Traveled® is hosted on two major shopping platforms, offers hundreds of handmade items, and ships around the world.
From the humble beginning of making simple aprons to providing 3-D art for large corporations to use in dynamic photo-shoots, The Path Less Traveled® continues to innovate and look for creative ways to make ordinary materials into extraordinary things. With the rapid development of new technology and some strategic investments, The Path Less Traveled® is excited to push the boundaries of this passion for many years to come.
