If you can dream it, I can create it!
I have always enjoyed crafting and being creative. I grew up making paper dolls and sewing Barbie clothes with my Granny Ruby and The Princess and the Pea Designs is named in honor of her. I enjoy creating something special and knowing that my creations bring joy to others. I love creating items for special occasions like birthdays and weddings, as well as a simple little happy for a "just because" gift that will put a smile on someone's face.
I started PPD in 2009 as a creative outlet and discovered it to be very therapeutic. I enjoy graphic design, vinyl and sublimation, and repainting furniture. This all done in my free time. My day job? I work with military youth programs in Florida and Europe. My passion? Sea turtle conservation! My summers are spent monitoring and protecting sea turtles on our local beach. It is a dream come true and something I never dreamed I would have the opportunity to do.
