From Vintage Treasures to Timeless Layers of Art
Per anni ho restaurato e curato oggetti vintage e d'antiquariato attraverso il mio negozio Le Marche Midwest, dove mi sono innamorata delle storie nascoste nel legno antico, nei tessuti usurati e nei vetri anticati. Ogni pezzo sembrava sussurrare un pezzetto del suo passato, e ho iniziato a chiedermi quale nuova vita avrei potuto dare a quei ricordi.
Quella domanda è diventata Timeless Layers, il mio studio dedicato alla trasformazione dei materiali in opere d'arte che trasmettono nostalgia e novità. Qui dipingo, realizzo decoupage e doro vetri, conchiglie e legno per creare pezzi unici e luminosi, ognuno realizzato a mano, guidato dall'istinto e rifinito con un tocco di lucentezza o di invecchiamento.
Che si tratti di una conchiglia ricordo per le feste, di una finestra incorniciata o di un cimelio di famiglia rivisitato, ogni creazione nasce con la stessa intenzione: preservare la bellezza, celebrare l'artigianato e ricordarci che il tempo non fa che accrescere la magia delle cose che amiamo.

For years, I’ve been restoring and curating vintage and antique finds through my shop Le Marche Midwest, where I fell in love with the stories hidden in old wood, worn fabrics, and weathered glass. Every piece seemed to whisper a bit of its past — and I began to wonder what new life I could layer into those memories.
That question became Timeless Layers, my studio dedicated to transforming materials into art that feels both nostalgic and new. Here I paint, decoupage, and gild glass, shells, and wood to create luminous, one-of-a-kind pieces — each built by hand, guided by instinct, and finished with a touch of shimmer or age.
Whether it’s a Holiday Keepsake Shell, a framed window, or a reimagined heirloom, every creation begins with the same intention: to preserve beauty, to celebrate craft, and to remind us that time only deepens the magic of the things we love.
