Where Vintage Meets Creative...
Cuando era niña, recuerdo aventurarme con mi madre a la tienda de segunda mano local en las Cataratas del Niágara. Había imponentes escalones de piedra que conducían a un sótano lleno de tesoros antiguos. Fue allí donde comencé mi amor por lo vintage. A menudo imaginaba la historia de un mueble, de dónde venía un artículo y quién podría haberlo poseído. Específicamente, todavía tengo un pequeño escritorio antiguo enrollable que tenía cuando era niño. Recuerdo imaginar los nombres de las chicas que pensé que podrían haberse sentado allí antes que yo, cómo se veían y dónde vivían. Vintage despertó mi imaginación. Mis padres, hermanos y yo todavía apreciamos muchos de esos tesoros encontrados hace mucho tiempo en nuestros hogares hoy.
Viniendo de una familia creativa y artística, me encanta la idea de mezclar lo vintage con el arte. Ya sea una bandeja de impresoras, decorando mi casa o incluso en mi jardín, encontrarás objetos vintage y artísticos únicos que complementan mi vida.

As a young girl, I remember venturing with my mother to the local thrift store in Niagara Falls. There were imposing stone steps leading to a basement filled with antique treasures. It was there that I began my love of vintage. I often imagined a piece of furniture’s history, where an item came from and who might have owned it. Specifically, I still have a small antique roll top desk that I had as a child. I remember imagining the names of girls that I thought might have sat there before me, what they looked like and where they lived. Vintage sparked my imagination. My parents, brothers and I still cherish many of those long ago found treasures in our homes today.
Coming from a creative and artistic family, I love the idea of mixing vintage with art. Whether it is a printers tray, decorating my home or even in my garden, you will find unique vintage and artistic objects accessorizing my life.
