First there was... a cat
Sono un'illustratrice di copertine di libri e lavoro con scrittori che vogliono dare vita ai loro personaggi dal 2021. Il mio gatto mi ha accompagnato in questo viaggio finché un giorno l'ho vista impastare biscotti (con una coperta) per la centesima volta e l'idea dei gatti che lavorano in una panetteria si è trasformata in uno sfondo del desktop.
Dopo che l'illustrazione ha ottenuto molto interesse su Threads, ho pensato tra me e me: "Potrei davvero venderla". L'idea di avviare un'attività in proprio non mi è mai passata per la testa, sembrava fuori dalla mia portata. Finché un giorno non ho lasciato cadere il peso del "Deve avere successo!" e ho deciso di aprire questo negozio come esperimento! Ed eccolo qui.
Alla fine, Vink Studio è nato con l'intento di tenere sulla giusta strada le persone appassionate, con agende e segnalibri. Ho decorato la superficie con dei gatti.
I'm a book cover illustrator working with writers, who want to bring their characters to life since 2021. My cat accompanied me on this journey untill one day I saw her kneading biscuits (with a blanket) for the hundredth time and the idea of cats working in a bakery turned into a desktop wallpaper.
After the illustration got a lot of engagement on Threads, I thought to myself "I could actually sell this". The idea of running my own business never crossed my mind - seemed out of my reach. Untill one day I dropped the weight of "It has to succeed!" and decided to run this shop as an experiment! And here it is.
Eventually, Vink Studio was made with an intention to keep passionate people on track - with planners and bookmarks. I sprinkled some cats on top.
