Wir verabschieden uns langsam vom Sommer – nach dem Abendessen ist es noch hell, aber die Abende werden kühler und die Blumenbeete beginnen zu verblühen. Die Vögel und Insekten sind sehr aktiv und genießen das Finale der Blüten! Es ist Zeit, die Winterkleidung abzustauben – welcher Teil Ihrer Garderobe braucht eine Auffrischung?
Die roten Voyageur-Kappen sind vorübergehend ausverkauft. Ich arbeite ständig an neuen. Wenn Sie eine Kappe möchten und keine in der Liste sehen, kontaktieren Sie mich bitte und ich werde Ihren Namen in die Warteschlange aufnehmen.
Ein besonderes Schmankerl für Käufer von Katzenminzenspielzeug: Wenn Sie mehrere Sets kaufen, lege ich für jedes weitere Set ein kostenloses Spielzeug dazu. Dafür ist kein Gutscheincode erforderlich!
Ich nehme immer gerne Anfragen für besondere Artikel entgegen. Wenn Sie etwas Besonderes benötigen, kontaktieren Sie mich und ich werde Ihnen mitteilen, ob ich Ihren Wunsch erfüllen kann. Sonderbestellungen für die Feiertage – Der Annahmeschluss für Sonderbestellungen ist der 15. November oder früher, wenn sie sich häufen, damit ich genügend Zeit habe, die Artikel fertigzustellen und per Post zu verschicken. Ich werde versuchen, allen Anfragen nachzukommen; jede ist etwas Besonderes für mich und ich nehme mir gerne Zeit, um sie genau richtig zu machen!
Bedenken Sie, dass alle handgefertigten Artikel, die Sie in meinem Geschäft sehen, genau das sind – gestrickt, gehäkelt oder gewebt von mir. Es gibt hier keine Genossenschaft. Keine Strickmaschinen. Keine Sockenmaschinen mit Kurbel. Keine Strickwebstühle. Keine Verwandten oder Freunde, die mithelfen (die Katzen verstehen das einfach nicht). Nur ich und meine Strick- und Häkelnadeln und ein paar Webstühle, die noch manuell bedient werden müssen, um die Geschirre hoch- und runterzuholen und das Webschiffchen zu werfen. Hier ist alles sehr praxisorientiert, und ich würde es nicht anders haben wollen!
Viele Käufer haben Katzenminzenspielzeug gekauft, und ich hoffe, das bedeutet, dass es da draußen einige zufriedene Kätzchen gibt! We are starting to say farewell to Summer - there is still daylight after supper, but the evenings cool off and the flower beds are starting to fade. The birds and insects are very active - enjoying the finale of blooms! Time to dust off the winter woolies - what part of your wardrobe needs a refresh?

I'm always happy to take requests for special items. If you need something in particular, contact me and I'll let you know if I can accommodate your request. Holiday Special Orders - The cutoff for custom orders will be November 15, or sooner if they pile up, in order to give me enough time to complete the items and get them in the mail. I will try to accommodate all requests; each one is special to me, and I like to take my time and get them just right!
Keep in mind that all the handmade items you see in my shop are just that - knit or crocheted or woven by yours truly. There is no co-op here. No knitting machines. No crank-style sock machines. No knitting looms. No relatives or friends helping out (the cats just don't get it). Just me, and my knitting needles and crochet hooks, and a couple of weaving looms, that still need to be operated manually, raising and lowering the harnesses and throwing the shuttle. It's all very hands-on here, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
