dMagy Etsy Shop Privacy Policy

This policy describes how I, Daniel P. Magyar, operating as dMagy, collect, use, and share information when you purchase from the dMagy Etsy shop, contact me through Etsy, or otherwise use services related to an Etsy order.

Information I receive

To fulfill an order, Etsy provides me with information such as your name, email address, postal address, payment confirmation, product selection, and order details. You may also provide additional information when you contact me about an order.

How I use your information

I use this information only as reasonably necessary to:

Process, produce, ship, and support your order
Communicate with you about your purchase
Resolve questions, problems, returns, refunds, or disputes
Comply with Etsy’s policies and terms
Meet applicable legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations

I do not sell your personal information. I will not use your Etsy order information for marketing or add you to a mailing list without your separate consent.

Information sharing

I share personal information only when needed to operate the shop or fulfill an order, including with:

Etsy, as the marketplace through which the order was placed
Gelato and its production network, when they manufacture or fulfill a product
Shipping and delivery providers, as needed to deliver the order
Government, tax, legal, or regulatory authorities when required by law
A successor business, should dMagy ever be sold or transferred

Gelato may select production and delivery providers based on the destination of an order. This may involve processing information in countries outside your own.

Data retention

I retain order information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill orders, provide customer support, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Information retained by Etsy or Gelato is also governed by their respective privacy policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to, or request deletion of personal information I hold about you. For information controlled directly by Etsy, you may also need to contact Etsy.
