The foundry workshop: a dream come true

Ediversostudio was born from the union of two artists, Marco and Chiara, who sharing a passion for art and love for things done well have created an artistic laboratory where innovation and tradition coexist.
We have dedicated this online shop to the foundry, a fundamental meeting point of our work.
The jewels and objects you will see are made with the ancient technique of lost wax casting, silver, bronze and other experimental alloys.

"The foundry"
"The foundry workshop is a dream come true:
to be able to create a work from A to Z.
In fact, normally, the artist, after having made the model (in plaster, clay, wood, wax ...) must lean on an external artistic foundry.
often the work of the foundry is put in the background compared to that of the artist, myself
I underestimated their work, considering it almost mechanical, factory-like.
The work for me was already done and finished, I took it to the foundry and as if by magic here is my seemingly identical sculpture transformed into metal.
But what is it that really happens behind the scenes?
A complex and demanding road unfolds, perhaps more than the realization of the work itself... maybe...
After learning the art of metal casting, when faced with a master smelter, you look at him with respect."
