Announcement    As a teen I started being fascinated (this passion still thrives me) by great artists of seascapes, so I intently watched and studied their charming representations.
For several years I have been trying to give concreteness to my own vision of art and tried to transfer my emotions onto canvas, using colors, shades and textures, enchanted atmospheres, either dreamt, conceived by my imagination or coming as a reminiscence of some remote memories.
Through my paintings I explore different techniques and feelings, shifting from the shiny “classical” nuances in my palette to the more intense, shady and intimate but never gloomy, nocturnal landscapes.
Over the years, I extended my production adding to oil-painted canvas, some of which are huge, also watercolors, mixed with inks and polishes, where this time my subjects are abstract seabeds.

Biography

Antonella Natalis was born in Milan in 1971 and works in the communication and fashion industries.

In 1975 she won the Premio Cornelliani (second place) “Manifestos/Posters and Fashion”, sponsored by Brera Academy and by the School of Art and Design in Milan, being awarded with the prize at the Sforzesco Castle by the Princess Melba Ruffo di Calabria.
Since 2012, she opened her permanent exposition at the venues for events La Limonera (Rovellasca-Como), were about 40 paintings are displayed.
In 2013, she placed second with Special Mention at the “Contest of ideas for the conception and planning of masterpieces representing the reconciliation between work and family life” proclaimed by the Chamber of Commerce of Monza Brianza.
In 2014, she exposed at the collective exhibition Images of Love, held at Gallery Spazio Papel, via Savona, in Milan.
In 2015 she got selected for the Exhibition/Contest EXPOARTEITALIANA, among 450 emerging artists coming from all over the Italian Peninsula. The painting “cultivate our sea”, chosen by the Professor Vittorio Sgarbi and the Artistic Director Giovanni Lettini, together with other 99 works representing the EXPO2015 theme, will be exposed at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi in Varedo, up to the end of 2016.
Since 2016, she sells and exposes in Italy and worldwide
In 2018 she got selected for the 8 BIENNALE ARTE CONTEMPORANEA DI MONTECARLO

Italian Marine Painter è il sito dedicato agli amanti della pittura del mare.

Fin da adolescente sono sempre stata affascinata dai grandi artisti di paesaggi marini e così osservavo e studiavo rapita tutte le loro rappresentazioni.
Da anni cerco di trasferire su tela con colori, sfumature e materia, atmosfere sognate, immaginate o recuperate in qualche ricordo lontano. Attraverso i miei dipinti esploro tecniche ma anche sensazioni passando dalle luminose nuances “classiche” della mia palette fino ad arrivare agli intensi, profondi ma mai cupi paesaggi notturni. Nel tempo ho esteso la mia produzione aggiungendo alle tele, anche di grandissime dimensioni, dipinte a olio, anche acquerelli, mixati a inchiostri e smalti, che vedono però protagonisti fondali marini astratti. Note biografiche
Antonella Natalis nasce a Milano nel 1971 e si occupa di immagine e comunicazione.
Nel 1995 vince Il Premio Corneliani (seconda classificata) “I manifesti e la moda” patrocinato dall’Accademia di Brera e dalla Scuola d’Arte e Messaggio di Milano e viene premiata nel Castello Sforzesco dalla Principessa Melba Ruffo di Calabria.
Dal 2012 apre la sua esposizione mostra permanente presso la Location per eventi | La limonera (Rovellasca – Como) dove espone circa 40 quadri
Nel 2013 vince la Menzione Speciale “2° Concorso di idee per l’ideazione e progettazione di un’opera rappresentativa della Conciliazione famiglia – lavoro” – Reconciling Work and Family Life indetto dalla Camera di Commercio di Monza e Brianza
Nel 2014 espone alla Mostra Collettiva Immagini d’Amore presso la Galleria Spazio Papel in Via Savona a Milano
Nel 2015 viene selezionata per la Mostra/Concorso EXPOARTEITALIANA tra 450 artisti emergenti di tutta Italia. L’opera “Coltiviamo il nostro mare”, scelta dal Professor Vittorio Sgarbi e il Direttore artistico Giovanni Lettini, assieme alle altre 99 opere rappresentative del tematica di EXPO2015 sarà esposta presso la Villa Bagatti Valsecchi di Varedo (MB) fino a fine anno.
Dal 2016 vende ed espone in Italia e all’estero
Nel 2018 viene selezionata per l'Ottava Biennale d'Arte Contemporanea di Montecarlo
