Utilizo únicamente técnicas artesanales tradicionales, materiales de primera calidad y una atención meticulosa al detalle. Welcome to La Puglia! I'm Hamza, and I live in Latiano, in the heart of Puglia, southern Italy.
Every piece in this shop is handmade in Grottaglie, one of Italy's official Cities of Ceramics, where potters have been shaping and glazing clay for more than five centuries. I work side by side with a local family workshop: they throw, pierce, sculpt and hand paint each piece using traditional techniques, and I take care of selecting the designs, quality control, careful packaging and customer service.
You'll find the symbols of our land here: the pumo, the Apulian good luck charm; the pigna, the ceramic pine cone of prosperity; openwork wall amphoras, lemon majolica and coastal pieces inspired by the Mediterranean.
Because everything is made by hand, small variations in shape and glaze are normal. They are the signature of real artisan work, and they make your piece one of a kind.
Every order is wrapped in several protective layers and shipped with tracking. Shipping is free within Italy and the EU, with a flat rate to the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Switzerland.
