Ho iniziato Etsy come mezzo per qualche soldo extra per la mia famiglia. Una volta ero una mamma a casa. Il mio altro negozio Etsy The Thread Junky è diventato popolare, ma fare braccialetti di amicizia può richiedere molto tempo con pochissime ricompense. Tuttavia, all'epoca tutto era meglio di niente.
Circa un anno dopo i braccialetti dell'amicizia sono entrato in contatto con il filato di T-shirt. All'inizio ho iniziato a comprarlo, poi ho pensato a quanto sarebbe stato più economico farmi da solo. Ho imparato da solo a lavorare all'uncinetto e ho trovato un tutorial sul taglio del filato di t-shirt. Dopo aver fatto un paio di tappeti ho tentato di vendere il filato tagliato. Era molto popolare.
Dopo molti anni trascorsi a casa con i miei figli, sono finalmente stato in grado di tornare a scuola e finire il mio diploma di insegnamento. Mi sono laureato a maggio 2016 e ho trovato subito un lavoro insegnando ai bambini di 3a elementare! Durante l'anno scolastico, la mia offerta potrebbe essere limitata, ma le estati saranno piene di filati!
I started Etsy as a means for some extra money for my family. I was once a stay at home mom. My other Etsy shop The Thread Junky became popular, but making friendship bracelets can be very time consuming with very little rewards. However, at the time anything was better than nothing.
About a year after friendship bracelets I came into contact with T-shirt yarn. At first I started buying it, then thought how much cheaper it would be to make myself. I taught myself to crochet and found a tutorial on cutting t-shirt yarn. After making a couple rugs I attempted to sell the cut yarn. It was very popular.
After many years of staying at home with my children, I have finally been able to return back to school and finish my teaching degree. I graduated in May 2016 and got a job right away teaching 3rd graders! During the school year, my supply may be limited, but summers will be full of yarn making!
