◇Care.
The metal itself is polished and coated with jewelry coating.
Jewelry coating is a finishing treatment that creates a thin film with chemicals that are gentle to the skin and prevents direct contact between the metal and the skin.

The effect of preventing metal oxidation and discoloration lasts for about 6 months to 1 year under normal living and stationary conditions.

As SV950 ages, a film of silver sulfide forms on the surface, causing it to tarnish. If you are concerned about the silver's characteristic tarnish, wipe gently with the cloth provided, or use a commercially available brass polish or brass instrument polish to restore the beautiful color of the piece.
You can enjoy the change of color for a long time because there is no worry that it will peel off like plating.

Please be aware that if you use a polish or other abrasive to clean the jewelry, the jewelry coating will be removed along with the polish.
