I use standard Australia Post to keep costs down for my customers. Their typical method of delivery within Australia is to tuck parcels inside a kangaroo pouch and let the marsupial hop to your letterbox. If they give him enough water, he'll make it there within seven working days. If you are overseas, they will secure it inside a crocodile's mouth, which will swim across the ocean to get to your post office (the postman will collect it from there if he doesn't get eaten). She is very fast, and typically makes it there within fourteen working days depending on the current. Occasionally there is a hold up, which usually means it's been slowed down by customs in your country. Please contact me if there are any problems :)

I send all my orders in paper envelopes (unless tracking/express is applied), as it keeps costs down for my customers and saves the environment from non biodegradable waste. Envelopes don't automatically come with tracking numbers, however, and I've found that the cost to add one often exceeds the cost of an order, as does express shipping. For this reason they are not automatically included, but I have added options for customers who don't mind paying extra (I do not profit from the postage amounts).

Patches make great presents. If you would like a hand painted envelope as gift wrapping and a hand written message inside, please note there is a $3 AUD (approx. $2.40 USD) option to include this with your order. Please keep the text to a maximum of 50 words, and message it to me at the time of the order. Some days I send my orders very quickly, so if you forget and return to add the option later your order may have already been dispatched.

Sorry I don't do custom patches, but if you're looking to start your own business I can tell you there's a big demand for them!

How to attach a patch

🦋SEWING🦋 Sewing is by far the most secure method. If you want something you can chuck in the washing machine, have thrown around by airport security or wear year after year without any peeling, this is the way to go. It only takes a needle, thread and a few minutes listening to some good tunes (Google Youtube tutorials if you need help). It can also be quickly machine sewed, or, if you are not craft inclined, you can take it to a tailors or offer to make lunch for a friend if they will stitch it up. 🦋GLUING 🦋 Fabric glues can be found everywhere; department stores, newsagencies, home DIY stores etc. It's quick and it holds, but not like sewing. 🦋IRONING🦋 These patches are not iron on, but gluing offers the same speed and result.

Will this make my backpack less waterproof or damage my clothing?

Most backpacks are water resistant and can handle light rain - I have 50 patches on my packs and they have never caused water to leak through. For heavy rains I cover the whole thing with a water proof cover. If you have something that is 100% submergible waterproof then don't puncture it with sewing holes for patches. I imagine attaching it with glue would be fine in such a case, but it's not something I've tested. In terms of clothing, sewing will make no difference as the needle holes are tiny. You can even unstitch the patch and sew it onto something else if you change your mind. If you have used glue, however, this will leave a mark that won't come off if you attempt to move it.

Junk mail sux. Mine doesn't. When I release a new patch design, a competition or discount codes, you will get a notification (no onslaught of emails or sharing of your address).
