There isn't much to say, I'm a retired failure annalist from Silicon Valley. I grew up rock hounding with my Mom and Dad on the beaches of California. (My Dad was a hobbyist who was a certified gemologist and my Mom did castings and mountings for his stones.) Then I found the" Great Gem Shows" and the world of pearls and natural gem stone beads. I have schooling in art and design so it was easy for me to put together colors and shapes. I enjoy putting pearls and gem stones together. Dichroic glass is one of my favorite things too, particularly if I can put it together with pearls. Not too long ago I found out about our state stone, the Oregon Sun Stone. It is the only sun stone in the world that is Gem quality. At first I bought stones but now I have mined it, had it cut, and then I have mounted or strung my stones to make earrings, pendants and necklaces of various types. I have recently learned to do wire wrapping a verity of stones to make pendants, and I have tried my hand at beaded chains. I hope you find them to your liking.
CHANGED my shop name to CJsGemsandJewelry... because I use to do Pro. Embroidery {thus the "Threads"} but we got out of that business.
