I have been a Zen monk for 20 years with the White Wind Zen Community in Ottawa, Canada. I am the caretaker craftsman, so as well as the numerous responsibilities as a monastic, I oversee all of the renovation and improvements in this Heritage listed monastery. I started a small woodworking business in 2010 to help cover the cost of my rent and my donations to the Zen community.
