Pattern Play was created for 2 reasons; first because there is lack of really fun children's toy patterns in the mainstream marketplace and two because the hundreds of ideas running around in my head needed to be set free. I love to create new toys for the children in my family, always perfering to make something myself for a birthday or holiday. I want the gift to be special and unique and perfectly fit their little personality and I bet there are others who feel this way too.
Most of the patterns in Pattern Play are designed for the advanced beginner to sewing. Those who have completed a basic pattern before, are familiar with reading pattern instuctions and have a working knowlegde of the basics of sewing. The patterns are also designed to be quick so you can complete them in a couple of evenings or a weekend (as a mom of 2 kids I know how precious and few that free quiet time is!). Patterns may be used for individual use and for small home based business producing limited numbers. Any other use, including (but not limited to) selling patterns, selling modifications of the pattern, using the pattern for commercial promotion, etc. is strictly prohibited, and a violation of copyright law.
