While my grandmother taught me to sew, a friend of mine introduced me to quilting more than 25 years ago and I’ve been hooked on fabric ever since! However, I really found my calling when I received some kitchen towels with my name on them from a dear aunt of mine. I looked at them on a daily basis and was so touched by this thoughtful gift that I was moved to learn embroidery.

Abbey Road Embroidery was established in 2011 and we have the pleasure of working closely with all of our customers to create unique gifting options. Creating lovely pieces and embroidering a personalized name or message on them will add such a special touch to your items! These one-of-a-kind gifts warm the hearts of my customers and my own as well. I worked for our local Department of Transportation for nearly 30 years and raised two amazing boys before I opened my shop. And now I have the energy of a kid because I’m doing what I love!

MY PERSONAL STORY
While we all have ups and downs in our lives, it’s the people and memories we make that are so important. I’ve made them with my husband of 25 years and my aforementioned (and now grown) sons. I am a true dog lover and our Maltese, Maggie and Maltipoo, Mason command much of our attention. I have a special young niece who thinks I’m pretty neat—the feeling is mutual. And seems like we just welcomed her little brother to the world - but nearing one year old, time's a flying!
