Ik wil graag in omgevingen vertoeven die buiten de natuurwetten of het fysieke domein vallen. Daarom teken ik de plekken waar ik van droom, plekken die leven, bezieling en passie uitstralen. Mijn doel is om de kijker het gevoel te geven dat hij of zij is ontsnapt naar een alternatieve realiteit waar vrijheid heerst. Ik geloof dat elke vrouw mooi is en dat die schoonheid uitstraalt wanneer ze de innerlijke vreugde kan aanboren.
Mijn aanpak is gebaseerd op zowel analoge als digitale collages. Ik construeer scènes met efemere materialen, zoals afgedankte tijdschriften, speciaal handgemaakt papier, behang, cadeaupapier en afbeeldingen uit het publieke domein, om surrealistische, meeslepende landschappen te creëren waarin vrouwen floreren, ongeacht hun huidskleur.

Environments existing outside of natural laws or the physical realm is where I want to be. So, I illustrate the places I dream of that invoke life, spirit and passion. My goal is to make the viewer feel like they have absconded into an alternate reality where they can be free. My view is that every woman is beautiful and that beauty emanates when she can tap into the joy that is her.
My approach is anchored in both analog and digital collage. I construct scenes with ephemera including discarded magazines, specialty handmade paper, wallpaper, gift wrap and public domain images to create surrealistic, immersive landscapes where women thrive regardless of skin color.
