Handcrafted art created with love and harmony
High in the mountains of Montana, where big skies spark big ideas, Bill and Rae Grout traded lab coats for torch flames and gears for glittering glass.
Bill, a former avionics technician with a love for precision and fire, began shaping molten glass in 1993. Rae, enchanted by the alchemy of sand and flame (and maybe just a little by Bill himself), joined him in 2002. Together, they launched a creative adventure that blends science, story, and a dash of mischief.
Their studio sparks with imagination, pixie orbs that seem to hum with secrets, collector marbles that capture whole galaxies, whimsical cabinet knobs, Steampunk journals filled with clockwork daydreams, and intricate wire-woven art pieces that look as though they were discovered in a dragon’s treasure hoard.
Rae is also the author and illustrator of the Punk Shop Dragon, inspired by Harmony, the dragon she first sketched for their company logo. According to studio legend, Harmony still swoops in to help blow the glass (carefully, of course).
They like to tell their customers that every piece is blown and art they create is made with love… and just a little dragon fire from Harmony.
