Bone Bazaar BC è un bestiario popolare: teschi, scheletri e bestie tratti dalla natura, dal folklore e persino dalla parte posteriore del mio cranio, tutti scolpiti con una tecnica di xilografia ad alto contrasto e dall'effetto heavy metal. È un memento mori che puoi indossare anche solo per andare a prendere un caffè.
Ho trascorso 20 anni nel mondo della pubblicità come creativo senior e animatore. Amo l'arte di creare grandi campagne, ma questo studio è il luogo in cui metto da parte il brief e creo cose con il mio stile personale. Questo stile deriva da una vita passata ad ascoltare i Metallica in continuazione e da un debole per il grezzo e il fai-da-te: la grana della Risograph, l'impatto della linoleografia, lo stile heavy metal. Se sembra un po' grezzo e rumoroso, probabilmente mi piace.
Quando non disegno, mi perdo nella scienza e nello spazio profondo. L'immensità del cosmo tende a insinuarsi nelle mie opere, solitamente con un sorriso filosofico-noir. Tutto ciò che vedete è il risultato di vent'anni di perfezionamento professionale, unito a un amore di lunga data per l'underground.

I've spent 20 years in advertising as a senior creative and animator. I love the craft of building big campaigns, but this shop is where I drop the brief and make things in my own voice. That voice comes from a lifetime of Metallica on repeat and a soft spot for the gritty and DIY: Risograph grain, linocut bite, heavy-metal type. If it looks a little raw and loud, I'm probably into it.
When I'm not drawing, I'm lost in science and deep space. The sheer scale of the cosmos has a way of creeping into the work, usually wearing a philosophical-noir grin. Everything here is two decades of professional polish wrestling with a lifelong love of the underground.
