Comencé a entrar en el corte por láser como un pasatiempo, y cuando perdí mi trabajo (¡subcontratando, yay!) se convirtió en algo más que un pasatiempo.

Después de mi boda, me sobraron muchas velas de té sin llama que estaban sentadas sin acostumbrarse. En algún momento tuve la idea de hacer candelabros que se sentaran encima de las pequeñas luces, permitiendo que toda la luz brillara por los lados.

Al principio solo tenían patrones simples en ellos, pero como soy un nerd gigante, no pasó mucho tiempo antes de que tuvieran un tema de Star Wars. ¡Y luego las ideas siguieron llegando!

Mientras hago las cajas de luz, me sobran muchos materiales de desecho y odio tirarlos. Comencé a hacer joyas con las piezas de chatarra, ¡así que hay menos desperdicio! Y porque me encanta la purpurina... Sí, la mayor parte es muy brillante.

I started to get into laser cutting as a hobby, and when I lost my job (outsourcing, yay!) it turned into more than just a hobby.

After my wedding, I had a lot of leftover flameless tea light candles that were just sitting around not getting used. At some point I had the idea to make candle holders that would sit on top of the little lights, allowing all the light to shine out of the sides.

At first they just had simple patterns on them, but because I'm a giant nerd it wasn't long before they were Star Wars themed. And then the ideas just kept coming!

While making the light boxes, I have a lot of scrap materials left over and I hate throwing it away. I started to make jewelry with the scrap pieces, so there's less waste! And because I love glitter... yeah most of it is very sparkly.
