A little laser, a lot of heart — handmade for every home!
Welkom bij Cast Iron Creative! 🔥
Welcome to Cast Iron Creative! 🔥
We're a small workshop in Centre, Alabama. I'm Katie — I run the laser engraver, making braille & tactile signs, home goods, and gifts. My other half, Shane, runs the 3D printer — custom coasters, photo lights, and the braille dots that make our tactile pieces the real thing: actual readable braille, never just decorative dots.
Why braille? I spend my days at the Northwest Georgia Center for Independent Living, and I believe accessibility shouldn't stop at survival — it should include the fun stuff too. A pantry you can navigate by touch. A Christmas ornament with your child's name on it, in print and braille. A welcome sign that truly welcomes everyone.
Everything here is handmade in our workshop — a little laser, a lot of heart, handmade for every home.
— Katie
