I've just finished making this bag to match a dress I've made that I'm going to wear to my Niece's wedding. I'd say I'm an intermediate sewist, and this is my first bag ever. I found the pattern itself excellent and the instructions with pictures and lots of really useful info excellent too. I did have a question for the seller we and she answered it. as other reviewers have said - do not do ANYTHING until you have read the instructions through first and don't do anything until the instructions tell you to. I was surprised to find the sewing of the front panel \ bow surprising easy and not so much putting in the zip. just keep going back to the instructions and scrutinise the pictures.

ConstructivPatterns have directions that are clear and the finished product looks amazing. I love sewing the clutch.

this is a PDF pattern for me. I used lace and beading from my bridal gown to make this clutch for my daughter to use this Fall on her wedding day. A few instructions weren't as clear as I'd like, but overall well written and I fully intend to make another.
