Creativity keeps me sane
Vengo da una lunga serie di persone creative su entrambi i lati della mia famiglia. Ho iniziato a fare ricami di perline e altre perline con pietre preziose, semi preziose e gemme diversi anni fa. Quella musa mi ha salvato un giorno, e da allora non l'ho più vista. Immagino che si stia davvero godendo Santorini, o forse Bali. LOL!
Con quella musa che se n'era andata, un'altra si trasferì pochi mesi dopo. Un chandler o una musa che fa candele. Io e lei andiamo d'accordo e ci stiamo godendo il nostro tempo insieme. Mi piace molto fare candele. Li faccio sul mio schermo nel portico posteriore perché mio marito è sensibile a diversi profumi. Vivo nei boschi, e mentre sono sotto il portico a sciogliere la cera, non si può dire cosa vedrò passare attraverso il nostro cortile. Di solito sono cervi, scoiattoli e il procione che hanno adottato il nostro defunto gatto semi selvatico. In questo periodo dell'anno, i cervi stanno portando i loro cerbiatti in giro, quindi è un grande piacere.
Guadagno uno stipendio come revisore notturno per un hotel di marca della catena economica di medio livello e sciolgo la cera nei miei giorni liberi. Faccio le tazze e i contenitori glitterati quando sono sveglio durante il giorno. Metti uno strato di glitter e, quando mi sveglio, è asciutto e pronto per il secondo strato.

I come from a long line of creative people on both sides of my family. I started doing bead embroidery and other beadwork with precious, semi precious and gemstones several years ago. That muse bailed out on me one day, and I haven't seen her since. I guess she is really enjoying Santorini, or maybe Bali. LOL!
With that muse having left, another one moved in a few months later. A chandler or candle making muse. She and I are getting along just fine, and are enjoying our time together. I really enjoy making candles. I make them on my screend in back porch because my husband is sensitive to different scents. I live in the woods, and while I am on the porch melting wax, there's no telling what I will see pass through our yard. It's usually deer, squirrels, and the raccoon that adopted our deceased semi feral cat. This time of year, the deer are bringing their fawns around, so that's a great pleasure.
I earn a paycheck as a night auditor for a mid level economy chain brand hotel, and melt wax on my days off. I make the glitter mugs and containers when I am up during the day. Put a layer of glitter on, and when I wake up, it's dry and ready for the second layer.
