¡Hola! Mi nombre es Jen y estoy muy emocionada de embarcarme en este nuevo viaje. En septiembre de 2023, dejé mi trabajo de tiempo completo en el que he estado durante los últimos 5 años. Poco a poco sentí que perdía cualquier tipo de creatividad que tuviera y al final no era feliz. Fue en ese momento que me di cuenta de que mi felicidad valía mucho más que cualquier cantidad de dinero. Por primera vez en mi vida no tenía un plan. Dejé mi trabajo sin nada preparado. Fue una decisión difícil, pero necesaria, y sabía que necesitaba hacer un cambio.
Durante los últimos 2 meses, he explorado varias profesiones para mantenerme ocupada, pero también para encontrar la que mejor me convenía. He sido maquillador de bodas, ayudante de fontanero, vendedor de Poshmark, cuidador de perros y pintor, entre muchas otras cosas. Pronto descubrí que lo que más amaba, desde pequeña, era tener una mente libre y creativa. Poco después de dejar mi trabajo de 9 a 5, comencé a aprender Canva y a explorar otros sitios web y herramientas creativos. ¡Espero que a todos les gusten mis diseños y manualidades tanto como a mí! Hi! My name is Jen and I am very excited to embark on this new journey of mine. In September 2023, I quit my full-time job that I have been at for the past 5 years. I gradually felt myself lose any sort of creativity that I had and I was ultimately not happy. It was at this moment that I realized, my happiness was worth a lot more than any amount of money. For the first time in my life, I did not have a plan. I left my job with nothing lined up. It was a tough, but necessary decision, and I knew that I needed to make a change.
Over the past 2 months, I have explored various professions in order to keep myself busy, but also find what suited me best. I've been a wedding makeup artist, plumbers helper, Poshmark seller, dog sitter and painter among many other things. I soon discovered that what I loved most, ever since I was little, was having a free and creative mind. Shortly after leaving my 9-5 job, I began learning Canva and exploring other creative websites and tools. I hope you all love my designs and crafts as much as I do! Thank you for your support - Jen
