En resa ner i kaninhålet...
A trip down the rabbit hole...
Japp, en resa ner i YouTubes kaninhål var det som fick mig att börja med maskinbroderi! Jag älskade och njöt av att brodera för hand. Det var min avkopplingstid. En dag behövde jag hjälp med ett stygn och gick till YouTube för att lära mig hur man gjorde. Och sedan såg jag det... någon som gjorde de mest underbara saker med den här fantastiska broderimaskinen!... Jag var fast!!! Därifrån lärde jag mig allt jag kunde och köpte kort därefter min egen flernålsmaskin. Jag skapade saker mestadels för vänner och familj. De uppmuntrade mig i min skicklighet och stödde mig i att starta en Etsy-butik. Jag är exalterad över att starta och driva ett litet företag i slutet av 50-årsåldern! Min dröm är att kunna fortsätta med detta på heltid och bära med mig denna kärlek till broderi under mina pensionsår. Vem vet vad detta nästa kapitel i mitt liv kommer att innebära. Men bara kanske.... min dröm kommer att gå i uppfyllelse förr än jag tror!
Yep, a trip down the rabbit hole of YouTube is what got me started with Machine Embroidery! I loved and enjoyed doing my hand embroidery. It was my relaxation time. One day, I needed some help with a stitch and went to YouTube to Learn how it was done. And then I saw it...someone making the most wonderful things with this Amazing Embroidery Machine!... I was hooked!!! From there I learned everything I could and shortly after bought my own Multi-needle machine. I created things mostly for friends and family. They encouraged me in my skill and supported me in starting an Etsy shop. I am excited to be a starting and running a small business in my late 50's! My dream is to be able to continue this full time and carry this love of embroidery with me through my retirement years. Who knows what this next chapter of my life will bring. But just maybe.... my dream will come true sooner than I think!
